Purpose Statement
First United Methodist Youth exist to inspire teens to worship Christ, bond them with other Christian students, support them as they walk with God and teach them to serve our world though love.

2007 Theme: What do you stand for?
This year we are going to take some time and figure out just what in the world we stand for. When people look at us, who do they see? What kind of legacy will we leave behind? And our favorite question, Are we living our life in such a way that the preacher will have to lie at our funeral? All good questions… All good points to ponder. So, throughout 2007, we will consider the question, “What do you stand for?” in our Sunday School lessons, our Youth lessons and our Wednesday afternoon small group times. Hopefully by December, we will have a better understanding of who we are, what we stand for and what we are leaving behind. It’s going to be an awesome year. Hope you will join us in our Walk and discover for yourself, just what you stand for.
