Children’s Ministry
We have many wonderful ministries for children at FUMC. We believe in helping our little ones grow in God's love and grace. To grow as a community of faith connecting them to God, to each other, and to the world. We strive to offer ample opportunities for our children to learn the importance of God's Word through small groups, enrichment programs, mission projects and more. We are committed to providing a strong foundation for them to become disciples of Jesus Christ.
Wednesday After-School Kids
Our Wednesday After-School Kids program (W.A.K.) is for any Pre-K student up through 5th grade. W.A.K. starts Wednesday, September 9th, 2026 for the Fall.
Register by August 30th!
6th Grade Confirmation
Our Confirmation program for 6th - 8th grade students typically consists of a dinner & youth worship each Wednesday evening in the Fall for nine weeks. We also have classes on Wednesday evenings that both students and their parent(s) attend together under the instruction of our pastors
Music & Drama
Music is an important, lively way to connect to God. We work with kids to teach them to worship through singing, dramatic acting, and even using hand mime and music to bring them closer to God.
Daycare
The FUMC Hot Springs Child Development Center is an Arkansas-approved, developmentally appropriate program that creates a partnership with families to provide full-time quality care and education for children from 6 weeks to 5 years of age.
